I'll have to get back with you in fall to give a full review, but I forsee no problems in the future. David loved his Christmas present and said," It's been awesome so far. I'd recommend it to my friends." Ecspecially after it weathered such a nasty winter so well. It's keeping the tools out of the snow and seems to keep the water out. It's ease of taking on and off with keeping my tools out of the weather is why I chose this product.
Probably took 10 minutes to install, but now that I know how it's done it shouldn't take 5 next time. I think it would take a hurricane to blow in rain.
Now I need the tailgate lock to provide a little security. Very pleased with my purchase so far.
My Lund tonneau cover arrived on time and everything was in the package that was supposed to be. The only water that got in was at the carwash using the wand and even then only a few drops at the tailgate.
I recommend this cover. It fit my 2004 Silverado perfectly and went on easily.
So far it keeps my cargo dry.
PLUS - it was on sale when I purchased it. It fits perfectly and makes my truck look great. A great value. Purchasing the Lund Tri-fold Tonneau cover has proven to be one of my better decisions. It was as easy or actually even easier to install than was described in the instructions.
Would be great for city driving but I live in rural area where it gets quite windy and it doesn't seem real secure. Bed cover looks great, easy to install. Only complaint is the straps to buckle the cover down in open position are elastic and really stretch when you are driving in windy conditions.
It installs real easy and is very simple to take off for hauling extra large items. This tonneau is an excellent choice at a low price. I have two guys that I work with that have since bought them after seeing mine and they both love theirs. I would suggest this tonneau cover to anyone. I was sick of the stupid snaps that never seem to fit in the winter. I am also noticing a 1.5 mpg gain with this thing installed.
